Thailand is the second biggest country among D·PES overseas visitors in South East Asia, ranking just after Malaysia. Sign Asia, which is held in Bangkok Thailand has been setting up a very good cooperation relationship from the first year of D·PES Sign Expo China. Sign Asia 2015 was held in IMPACT Bangkok during Nov. 12-15. As the 5th station of D·PES global promotion, D·PES sent out marketing specialists to attend Sign Asia 2015 on schedule, in order to promote D·PES Sign & LED Expo China which will be held in Guangzhou PWTC on Feb. 23-26, 2016.
Established in 1999, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center is an integrated venue offering a diversity of events with versatile facilities and services. IMPACT is one of Asia’s largest and most modern exhibition and convention centers with a usable indoor space over 140,000 square meters, comprising a variety of venue sizes to meet all kinds of events requirement.

Although Sign Asia was opened at 10:00 am, it’s opening ceremony was held at 14:00 pm at the hallway of Hall 2.
Compared with sign shows in other countries, Sign Asia’s opening ceremony is much grander every year. This time in Sign Asia 2015, the stage background was a large LED screen arch, with a LED display lighting ceremony desk standing in the front. Cakes and drinks were also available to the ceremony guests and show visitors.
Most of the guest who attended the opening ceremony were from neighborhood sign associations, including: Mr. Sakkachat - CEO of IBRIX, Mr. Sakorn - Chairman of Advertising Sign Producing Association (ASPA), Mr. Adisorn - Chairman of Thai Advertising Business Development Association (TABDA), mR. Chokechai - Chairman of Thai Inkjet Club (TIC), Mr. Lim - Chairman of Persatuan Perikatan Pengusahan Iklan Malaysia, Mr. Nguyen - Chairman of Dongnam Advertising and Commercial Promotic, and so on.
The visitor registration center was located before the gate of Hall 2. The LOGO of Sign Asia 2015 was printed on every registration desk. As the show opening hours were 10:00 am - 20:00 pm, in the morning there were not so many visitors. The organizer said normally there would be more visitors in the afternoon, especially on Saturday and Sunday. It was estimated that visitors would reach to 15000 this time.
D·PES had a corner booth in Sign Asia 2015, locating on Hall 3.
Same as before, D·PES used one mini luminous LOGO board and five theme posters to decorate the booth, L23.
D·PES representatives stood at the main entrance, main aisles and in front of the booth to distribute leaflets to each visitor. Most of the Thai visitors said they knew D·PES Sign Expo long time ago and would keep coming to Guangzhou to visit the show again in 2016.
D·PES had a pleasant talk with Thai Advertising Business Development Association (TABDA) and set up a close relationship with TABDA for further cooperation.
Sign Asia is the earliest and biggest sign exhibition in Thailand. It’s organized by IMBIX and supported by Thai sign associations such as ASPA, TABDA, TIC and OHMC. Same as last year, Bangkok LED & Digital Sign was held simultaneously with Sign Asia 2015. The total show area was 10,000 sqm, with around 100 exhibitors from Thai, China, Korea and Singapore.

Sign Asia 2015 used Hall 2 and 3 of IMPACT Exhibition Center. According to the organizer, the show area was the same as last year (10,000 sqm) but number of exhibitors had been increased.
As there were no local brand of sign equipment in Thailand, most of the exhibitors of Sign Asia were agents or dealers, among them up to 70% were from China.
Only EPSON sent its Thai Branch Company to attend Sign Asia directly, other exhibitors were all agents of the sign industrial brands.
Such as TECH 2004 (agent of Mimaki), SVOA ( agent of Roland), SAS (agent of HP), Superior Inkjet (agent of Dilli and 3M), Nation Wide (agent of Konica), BPS (agent of Gongzheng), UDS (agent of Wit-Color, Icontek and Xuli), THAI TAR XEN (agent of JHF), EPIC (agent of Allwin), etc.
D·PES representative had a nice talk with Ms. Sirapom, marketing manager of IBRIX and confirmed the booth exchange of both shows in 2016.
