The 6th Print Technology Malaysia 2014 had beed held from August 14 to August 17 in Putra World Trade Center Kuala Lumpur, while the 4 days event was corvering an area of 14000㎡ and attracted around 20,000 attendees from Malaysia local and oversea visitors. The show is held every two years, which is the largest and most inluential advertising exhibition in Malaysia. D·PES sent two representatives to join the show for understanding the marketing trend of Malaysia advertising. they reported the exhibition and distributed more than 1,000 brochures of 2014 D·PES Sign Expo China-Autumn Guangzhou and 2015 D·PES Sign Expo China in the event, aiming to attract more professional attendees to D·PES exhibitions.

The venue is Putra World Trade, its short writing PWTC is the same abbreviation with D·PES exhibition venue - Poly World Trade Center. The grand exhibition signage stood at the portal of PWTC in Engilish and Chinese, which showed the cultrural diversity of Malaysia.

At about 10:30am, the opening ceremony elaborately managed by the organizer was held on the first floor of PWTC, while most of the attendees came from south Asia and southeast Aisa. The spot was full of harmony and warm atmosphere.

The famous international brands of this exhibition as below: Canon、 Epson、 Konica Minolta、 RICOH、 Roland、 efi、 HP、 Mutoh、 FUJI、 Xero、 Mimaki etc; and the Chinese brands: Flora, Handtop, Docan, Wit-color, Titanjet, Hallenger, Lecai, World cut, Sprinter, Phaeton, Human Digital, Taimes, Woodpecker.

Although there were few visitors in the first day, but still D·PES representatives could full feel the enthusiasm of Malaysian people. Many malaysia visitors came to D·PES booth and enquiried kinds of questions that related to our 2015 D·PES SIGN EXPO CHINA. Our representatives answered them patiently, so that more and more overseas people knew D·PES exhibition.

Most of attendees showed their great interest in D·PES exhibitions, some of them said: I will visit it.

The registration counters were set at the portal of PWTC, there were 10 counters and 2 writing counters. Most of the visitors came from Malaysia local,the others were from foreign counttries such as China,Indonesia,Philippines, Thailand, Australia, USA and so on. There were few visitors in the first day because it was the working day. "Most of visitors will gather at the last two days, as the weekend coming.", the exhibition organizer told us.

Situation of Malaysia advertising market:

Malaysia locates in southeas Aisa, with its economic developing rapidly these years. In addition to tourism industry, service industry and manufacturing industry, advertising printing industry is also an important part in Malaysia economic. Developing economic makes the advertising market demand grow fast in Malaysia, while the local manufacturing industry can not meet the demand. The amount of imported printing equipment is more than $ 10 billion. D·PES has always committed to building a global trade paltform of advertising, what we have done in Malaysia is to attract more international buyers whose demands are corresponding to the supplies of Chinese manufacturing industries. All in all, the tremendous amout of Malaysia advertising printing market is worthy the manufactures' attention.

Very thanks to the exhibition organizer's arranging, D·PES booth located at an obvious place which was close to the main passage in Hall 1. Six colorful posters attracted lots of attention of passers-by. D·PES representatives gave the brochure to them, explained our exhibitions at the same time.

The venue approximately size 14,000 sqm, and over 140 exhibitors brought their latest product and technology to this grand show. Most of local exhibitors were equipment’s distributors or agencies, and some other oversea exhibitors were from China, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, etc. This could be the great show of the year to make business opportunities and understand the market demand in print industry.
